I built UK Visa Sponsorship Checker because I was the person who needed it and it didn't exist.

With graduation approaching and no graduate scheme lined up, I applied for a role completely unrelated to my economics background. I did well in the interview, but got rejected for being overqualified. Instead of a dead end, the hiring manager referred me to a sister company that had actual visa sponsorship capability. I joined part-time, proved my value, and eventually moved onto a full-time Skilled Worker visa.

That near-miss taught me something: the information that matters, which companies are actually licensed to sponsor, existed. It was just buried in a Home Office spreadsheet with 125,000 rows, no trading name search, updated every two weeks. Nobody had made it usable while you were actually job searching.

So I built the Chrome extension that I wish had existed. It cross-references every job listing against the official register automatically, as you browse LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor. What used to take me an hour of manual checking now takes one second.

I've been through this process twice. Every feature in the product, trading name matching, sponsorship history, activity signals, exists because I personally needed it.
